Pete.... good to see you back. Can totally relate to your gettin back to basics. Gained some 65 lbs over 4 years. On a mission now to get back to my "fightin" weight and stay on a healthy eating/excercise plan.

Hey Pete.
I have a recording studio with a nice Steinway that I rent from my housemate, so I've been recording and playing on various projects.
I'm playing (acoustic drums) with Chris Cheek (Paul Motian) and Richard Hammond (Angelique Kidjo) with the Dan Stein group at Detour on April 21st in Manhatttan. Just a fun little no pressure gig. I don't get to play live that often these days since I'm so busy in the studio.
Been producing bassist Juini Booth's project. Juini played with Gadd, Sun Ra, McCoy...etc...
I'm playing electric drums on that.
Today, I'm laying down tracks for an upcoming dub record.
I just did some hip hop tracks for a video and just recorded a FANTASTIC percussionist named Lukas Ligeti. His extended techniques and ensemble skills are amazing! I didn't play on that recording, I engineered it. It was for a horror flick. SCARY STUFF I might add.
Lukas' dad is a famous Contemporary composer, (2001: Space Odyssey).
I'm blessed I can work on so many cool projects with great musicians.
I also went to Colorado skiing with my girlfriend and also been visiting my failing mother. She has alzheimer's disease, which as we all know is not a fun thing.
